Blooming Inspiration

This time of year, is truly the best there is just so much inspiration everywhere. I have been busy photographing plants and flowers so I can draw them later in the year as there just isn't enough time right now. The rhododendrons look amazing and I just love the bluebells. I went for a wee wander around and here are a few pictures. I loved these images for the vibrant colours, shapes and patterns. This beautiful Magnolia is in our garden and the lovely flowers only seem to last a while. This Rodedendrum not only looks amazing but smells divine too....

Triathalon training update...

Well I wish I could say I have been sticking to my wonderful Triathlon training plan that I posted up a few weeks ago. It's been hard to stick to when the kids are off on holidays and I have to be honest I've just been doing what I can. I try generally to do one cycle a week, one swim, one run and maybe one brick session, cycle then run. I'm hoping thats enough but it is just a bit off fun after all. My Herb Garden

Last year my husband Lee made an area for me to create a Herb Garden. I have been thinking about this for a while and it has not been the right time to plant until now.  Here are some herbs I have drawn that I intend to use in the garden. Yesterday me and the girls decided to get planting so off were to Ardardan our local garden centre and we brought numerous herbs. Bracklinn Falls, Callander

This weekend we visited Bracklinn Falls with some friends and what a beautiful walk it was. The sky was clear all day! That does not happen very often and the National Park looked amazing.
