Well the house challenge this month has been tough. I found it much harder than faces. I thought it would be the other way round. It's all turning out be very different from what I thought. It just proves you don't know until you try something. I think it has been strenuous because I like things to look pretty and houses are square, angular and don't flow. Leaves and faces are organic and natural and that’s probably what I feel more comfortable drawing.
I also didn't know whether to make the windows black or white inside. What I noticed from other illustrators is that it varies. I think windows are generally black when you look inside them so I kept them black. It also gives more of a contrast to the drawing.
