I thought I would share with you my go to list of great websites that provide me with new skills, inspiration and business guidance. I also get a lot of help and support from the Gather & Blether creative group I have set up locally. Just click on the logos to go to the websites.
Creative Live - Is a great place to learn lots of new skills. You can browse there list of courses and learn anything from Photography and video editing to Money and Life.
Skillshare empowers people to advance their careers, improve their lives, and pursue the work they love. It has universal access to high quality learning. They have classes in design, photography, business etc.
Molly Jacques is the queen of hand lettering and Calligraphy. At the moment Molly is doing a great class on hand lettering on the iPad Pro at Brit + Co. using Pro-create.
Creative market is where I find lots of lovely fonts to download. It's also great for Photo mock up's if you want to start an online shop. A friend of mine, Emma has some great photo mock ups on here from YoYo Photo
Makelight - "An online learning platform and community for creative makers and doers around the world". I have found Makelight a fantastic place to learn from. You pay a monthly subscription and have access to a wealth of knowledge and a great community. Makelight is helping my business to evolve and push me in the right direction.
One Girl Band is a collective for female entrepreneurs + creatives. It has a great online community and I also find Lola Hoad's Newsletter and Podcasts really inspiring. Go check out her one girl band podcast on soundcloud for some inspiring chat x
Blogtacular is the place for people whose hearts beat with creativity to come together to meet, share and inspire. I was fortunate enough this year to go along to this fantastic event. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.
