The lost art of letter writing....
I am not sure if you follow me on Instagram but this week, I re-posted in my stories a post from @thesundayletterproject. The Sunday Letters Project is a writing imitative for a disconnected world and encourages people to write one letter every Sunday….

So, I’m thinking I am going to give this a go, but I may also send wee bits of art too… we have some friends that have just moved over to Australia and it’s a small bundle of home to send to someone. It also embraces something a bit slower which I am all for. Slowing down and taking small moments to just be.
If you want to follow along with The Sunday Letter club do give it a go…you don’t have to write every week just once a month even x
I have also decided to give ONE NEWSLETTER subscriber a month a wee art freebie... I will send a card, print, notepad etc... to one lucky NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIBER every month - @emmeliecoulson.design gave me this FAB idea and I love it. Thanks Emmelie x
They also brought to my attention four sisters that have launched a campaign to create more affordable stamp for Christmas time.
THE aim is to urge Royal Mail to introduce a 50p seasonal Christmas Stamp…
SIGN THE PETITION HERE
They are descendent of Sir Henry Cole inventor of the CHRISTMAS CARD in 1843! They believe a more affordable stamp for Christmas could help more people continue the tradition that is vital in “preserving message of affection, friendship and family history” The campaign started in May hoping it could help combat the isolation and loneliness felt by many at Christmas time. They are aiming for 100,00 signatures to get Royal Mail to take them seriously… they have 70,000 to go eeek! And time is running out.
