{DAY 26} - BOOKS, BLOGS & PODCASTS
I love illustration books and I have so many of them. I love looking at different illustration styles for inspiration. Some of my favourites are @johannabasford @melissa.castrillon @oanabefort @florawaycott @mirdinara
Flow magazine in the image is FAB for great illustrators too x
My favourite creative book though has to be "The Art of Creative Thinking" by Rod Judkins.
If I'm honest I don't really follow many blogs. One of the first blogs I came across that inspired me to start my business was Wit & Whistle.
Podcasts I love are Being Freelance, Starting the Conversation @alice_benham and Lola Hoad The One Girl Band Podcast @lolahoad I tend to listen to these as soon as they are released.
{DAY 27} - RECOMMEND A MAKER

{DAY 28} – ORGANISED
Most people would say I am very organised and I am in some areas but when it comes to running my own business I'm not so sure. I don’t know where to start as there is always a lot to do. You must prioritise. I use Trello to keep track of all the things that I must do and my weekly planner of course x
{DAY 29} – COMMUNITY
If I’m honest I don’t think I ever experienced community until I moved to Scotland. I think there is a real sense of that here. Since starting the creative group Gather & Blether we have a real creative community which is fantastic x
{DAY 30} - TOP TIP/ADVICE
My top tip would be just to START. Start doing what you love even if it isn’t perfect. I am a wee bit of a perfectionist but nowhere near as bad as some. I actually like imperfect as that’s what makes us unique and different x
{DAY 31} - CREATIVE FRIENDS
I think I have probably mentioned this already in my long list earlier so I won’t go on again. My sisters are very creative though and they are my best friends so go check out their work @carrotandtwitch and @suzannemiddlemass. I have written a blog post about them if you are interested click here.
