Inveraray Walk

I am sorry that the blog posts have been few and far between but there has been a lot going on in my family recently and that has taken precedence. My sister came to stay this week from London and we have had a lovely time just chilling and catching up. We went for a lovely walk on Wednesday in Inveraray and then ended up in The George Pub. I thoroughly recommend this for a lovely day out.

The weather was VERY Scottish and didn't disappoint with many a squally shower and random slice of sunshine.

The walk we went on was called Dun na Cuaiche and it started at Inveraray Castle and leads you up to the folly on the hill. The viewpoint is great and it’s not too far to walk. The George along Main Street East is rustic and cosy. It isn’t what you would expect from the outside. We were both starving and soaked afterwards so we had a soup, sandwich and chips to warm us up next to a toasty open fire x
