A new year and a new plan. Lomond Paper Co. Has now been up and running for 2 years and in the beginning I knew I just had to start. I am slowly learning in which direction I want to go. I seem to be loving the illustration and drawing more than anything at the moment. This has been spurred on by the #10differentwaystodraw challenge that started in June 2016. I’m going to be making some of these into postcards and prints. I also want to do more illustrated downloadable products. I think this works for both the customer and the designer.
I have been drawing a lot on my iPad Pro as it does speed things up but I miss real painting and I want to set up an area in my studio just for this. The packing up and setting away can be a pain and I want to to able to just leave stuff out. I also want to invest in a better printer.
What I really LOVE about working on Lomond Paper Co. Is that it works around my children and my life and its putting creativity into my everyday. As long as that keeps happening I will continue to love it and just keep going and see where it leads me.
